Nitrox can be used in many ways by all divers and in most dive environments. No-Stop bottom times are extended due to the lowered level of nitrogen in the breathing gas. It is also possible to use it in a way to reduce the potential for DCS. Some Nitrox divers believe that they feel less tired after the dive, when using enriched air scuba tanks.

Important to keep close to your buddy when scuba diving.

Buddy up!

During the nitrox course you learn to select the appropriate nitrox mixture for your planned depth, analyse the mix to ensure accuracy and safety, and determine the oxygen exposure limits after each dive. The academic session lasts approx 4 hours with a quiz at the end of it to assess your knowledge.

Certification brings you into one of the fastest growing sides of recreational diving in the world. Once certified you will be allowed to obtain Nitrox fills up to 40% oxygen from any authorized Dive Centre and hire Nitrox equipment and analyze your fills and plan your Nitrox Dives.

You can also make the Nitrox course onboard our liveaboard MV Vilai Samut, please let us know in advance so we can prepare Nitrox Tanks for you.   You can also study on-line beforehand with PADI e-learning, please click the picture below to access.
