The four day PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop your dive knowledge and skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, as well as teach you to manage diving accident situations and apply first aid skills.
Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification beyond entry level (at least two certifications total), with proof of 20 or more logged dives documenting experience in deep diving and underwater navigation.
Rescue Diver course student diver must have successfully completed a sanctioned course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR-Primary Care) and basic first aid (Secondary Care) within the past two years (24 months).
Minimum age: 15 (12 to 14 year old may earn the Junior Rescue Diver Certificate)

After watching the video and making the theory parts of the course with exams, you will need to undertake 10 different Rescue skills including rope throwing, search and recovery, and raising an unconsious diver to the surface. Once this part as been completed, there will be senarios to put in to practice what you have learnt in a realistic manner. This course is a great springboard to becoming a PADI Dive Master.
The cost will depend on how you make the course, you may wish to make the course over day trips, or you may prefer to complete the exercises on land/pool, then complete the course on our liveaboard.
