We as divers are able to see the aquatic life from below the surface, it also means that we have a responsibility to protect marine life as many who don’t dive are unaware of what is under the waves.  The Thailand eShark Project is mainly to raise awareness of declining shark populations in Thailand. It is also to improve protected marine parks with the aim of creating shark sanctuaries.

So, who can help out with this project? Everybody that is in the ocean! Snorkeller or diver, it doesn’t matter! So go on to:

http://www.sharkguardian.org/thailand-eshark-project/

to do a survey after every dive or snorkel you do, even if you don’t see any sharks! And what results does this give us? We are able to evaluate how shark populations have changed through time in Thai water.

Take this chance to help these beautiful animals and maybe you’ll see even more sharks next time you dive here in Thailand!
