Elephant Head consists of huge granite boulders between Similan Islands #7 and #8. Starting down in the sand at 50 meters stretching to above the surface.
Sharks are more frequent here, and if you look in under rocks you might get to see baby sharks. You might also see Octopus, Nudibranchs, Boxfish and many other colourful fish.
Quite often we get to see different kinds of Rays, and sometimes a Whale Shark decides to come for a visit.
There is usually schools of Baracudas at Elephant Head and other big predators.
There is often a current running through the dive site, but there are plenty of rocks and boulders to hide behind. |
