Golf course 10 minutes from Khao Lak

There are two two golf courses close to Khao Lak. The closest only ten minutes from Khao Lak, the other one about 90 km towards Surat Thani.

Tap Lamu Navy Golf Course

The nearest course, Tap Lamu Navy Golf Course, is very beautiful. The sea can be viewed from some of the holes, and three of the holes are played along the beach. The course, a par 72, was re-built after the tsunami. It is difficult, and it is not unusual with scores ten strokes over your handicap.

Tap Lamu Navy golf Course is starting to become very popular, and it can be difficult to reserve a fee-off during weekends. There is a golf shop, lockers and a restaurant in the club house, and several kiosks along the course.

Rajjaprabha Golf Course

The other course, Rajjaprabha Golf Course is close to Khao Sok National Park, about 90 kms towards Surat Thani. The golf course is really beautiful and well kept, but we recommend you to rent a golf cart here. The course is set in hte mountains.

This course is rarely very busy, except for Thai holdays. There is a club house with all amenities and a few ksks along the couse. There are also bungalows for rent if you want to say or night.

Thai Muang Golf Course

Previously there was a golf course 30 kms south of Khao Lak, Thai Muang Golf Course. It is not clear if this course is going to open again, but we will keep an eye out.
