diving from Khao Lak

We depart for the Similan Islands almost every day. When going elsewhere we turn north for other highlights such as world famous Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. We reach the Similans, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai in just over one hour and Richelieu in two. Once or twice a week we also go to our local wreck, the Bonsung Wreck.

For you to get as much as possible out of your dive trip, we never take more than four divers in a group. Each group is put together depending on experience and skill of each diver. Our divemasters are highly skilled and they know the dive sites, and every group has its own divemaster.

In order for you to have a relaxed day when diving with us, we have chosen to limit ourselves to two dives per day. Some other dive centers do three dives, but our experience tells us that doing three dives will only shorten the total time you are under water, and you will get less time to enjoy your vacation. When diving with us you will find that we make an effort to give you as long time under water as possible as well as good quality diving.

On board our boats safety comes first. Not only do we have first aid-equipment, oxygen, VHF-radio, fire extinguisher, life jackets (also for children) and navigation equipment, our staff is trained to use the equipment. We are probably the only dive center that perform exercises to make sure our staff maintain their skills.

When we go to our famous local wreck, Bonsung Wreck, we normally don't leave Khao Lak until 9 am. Our longtail boat departs from Pakarang Beach, about 15 minute ride from our shop. the boat trip takes about 30 minutes. We do two dives at the wreck with lunch in between dives. You will be back in Khao Lak at about 5 pm. Lunch and water is included in the price.
